AI Personas
Your advisory board is made up of distinct AI personalities — each with their own expertise, biases, and voice.
Two-Layer Architecture
Every Verdikt board has 8 advisors organized in two layers:
Layer 1: Universal C-Suite (4 personas)
These executives serve on every board, regardless of industry. They automatically adapt their metrics, language, and examples based on your organization's industry.
| Persona | Role | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| The Founder | CEO / Chief Strategist | Strategic growth, vision, 3–5 year thinking |
| The Comptroller | CFO / Financial Guardian | Cash flow, margins, P&L impact |
| The Operator | COO / Execution Chief | Workflows, bottlenecks, throughput |
| The Sentinel | Chief Risk & Legal | Risk mitigation, compliance, downside mapping |
Layer 2: Industry Specialists (4 personas)
Four experts with deep domain knowledge specific to your industry. For example, a healthcare org gets Dr. Compliance, Nurse Practitioner, The Bookkeeper, and Chief of Staff. See Industry Packs for the full list.
Persona Attributes
Every persona is defined by:
- Thinking Style — How they approach problems (e.g., "cautious, rule-based" vs. "optimistic, growth-minded")
- Primary Lens — What they evaluate first (e.g., "Cash Flow" vs. "Patient Experience")
- Core Bias — Their default position in ambiguous situations
- Voice & Tone — How they speak (e.g., "Gruff. Short sentences." vs. "Polished, guest-obsessed.")
- Key Tensions — Built-in disagreements with specific co-panelists that drive productive debate
Custom Personas All Plans
Create your own AI advisors tailored to your business needs. Custom personas sit alongside the default board and participate in debates with the same depth.
How to Create a Custom Persona
- Go to Organization Settings → Custom Personas.
- Tap "Create Persona" and fill in the name, role, thinking style, primary lens, core bias, and voice tone.
- Optionally define adversarial tensions with existing personas — this creates realistic friction during debates.
- Choose a color and icon to identify your persona in the boardroom.
How Advisors Are Selected
When you submit a dilemma, Verdikt's classifier AI analyzes your input and assigns it to one of 9 business categories (Financial, Strategic, Operational, Legal/Risk, People, Technology, Product, Industry, Complex). Each category has an optimal combination of C-Suite executives and industry specialists.
For example, a financial dilemma might get The Comptroller (CFO), The Founder (CEO), and a relevant industry specialist, while a legal question would include The Sentinel (Chief Risk & Legal).
- 3-agent panels — All plans. The classifier selects the 3 most relevant advisors.
- 5-agent panels — Premium only. Two additional perspectives for broader analysis.
You can manually swap any advisor before starting the session if you prefer a different perspective on your panel. See Sessions for the full list of dilemma categories.
Persona Memory Premium
With Persona Memory, your advisors remember key insights from previous sessions with your team. This means they can reference past context, build on earlier recommendations, and provide increasingly personalized advice.
How It Works
- After each session, each advisor stores up to 5 key insights from the discussion.
- In future sessions, these memories are injected into the advisor's context, allowing them to say things like "Based on the pricing analysis we discussed last week..."
- When the 5-insight cap is reached, the oldest insight is replaced (FIFO — first in, first out).
- Memories are encrypted and private to your organization — no data is shared across workspaces.
